Pirates, Pants and Wellyphants at West Leeds’ libraries

Throughout autumn half term, Leeds Libraries will offer a number of FREE events for children and families inspired by the Pirates, Pants and Wellyphants – The Illustrated World of Nick Sharratt exhibition currently on show at Central Library, writes Matthew Stoppard.

Across West Leeds, children will be able to take part in a number of fun activities, such as creating monster pants, flipbooks, zines and masks that are brought to life through an augmented reality app. Look out for these Monster Mix events at the following libraries:

  • Farsley Library, Monday Oct 29th, 10.30am-11.30am
  • Pudsey Library in Pudsey Community Hub, Tuesday Oct 30th, 10.30am-11.30am
  • Armley Library in Armley One Stop Centre, Thursday Nov 1st, 2pm-3pm
  • Calverley Library, Thursday Nov 1st, 3.30pm-4.30pm
  • Bramley Library in Bramley Community Hub, Friday Nov 2nd, 10.30am-11.30am
