A Horsforth church is hoping to erect 33 solar panels on its roof.
Lister Hill Baptist Church, in Brownberrie Avenue, has applied to Leeds City Council for a Certificate of Proposed Lawful Development to put up the panels.
The certificate is an official legal document from a local planning authority that confirms a specific building use, past development or proposed work is lawful for planning purposes.
The application is expected to be decided by council planning officers by Friday, 30 October 2026.
The application can be found here.
If successful, Lister Hill Baptist Church would become the third community building in Horsforth this year to receive permission for solar panels, following Grade II Listed St James Church in April and The Grove the same month.
