It’s time to get green-fingered at New Wortley Community Centre!
Local residents are being invited to come along and join the New Wortley Community Gardening Club to create a woodland garden on Third Avenue.
The event takes place from 10am-noon on Saturday, June 21 and all are welcome to come along to the grassed area near the car park off Third Avenue.
It’s run by New Wortley Community Centre and environmental charity Groundwork.
Meanwhile, spaces are available for a gardening in small spaces course at New Wortley CC starting on the 30th June from 9.45am-noon. The course runs for five weeks and is run by The Conversation Volunteers at Hollybush.
