A fresh application to sell alcohol from a shop on Armley Town Street has been made.
The application, by Lashkiri Nabi of Moortown, would see the grocery store at 13 – 15 Town Street sell alcohol to be drunk off premises between 7am and 10pm daily.
Armley Town Street is covered by a licensing law which makes it harder for new off licences to be approved. The cumulative impact policy (CIP) was introduced to help tackle problems with street drinking and anti-social behaviour in the area.

Why dose it need more shops selling booze it’s already killed Armley town street. Not a nice place to go any more. Is it not time for a change bring back more small independent shops selling different things….We dont have little shops like a news agent …Nothing to tempt you to go to town street unless you want booze or foreign food
