What does Bramley need as as the restrictions lift and life changes again?
That’s the question being posed at a monthly community pub night, which is being held online later this week.
The event is informal, friendly and a chance to chat about life in Bramley area.
It’s run by the Barley Community Society, a community group which has developed from the Barley Mow Supporters group. Members had originally hoped to take the Barley Mow Pub in Bramley into community ownership prior to it being bought by a private landlord last year. One of the organisers, Fran Graham, said:
“The hot topic this month is pandemic resolutions – what we’ve learnt from it all and what we want to do differently. It’s laid back, it’s a good laugh and we’d love to see you. Everyone welcome!”
The online event – called ‘The Local’ – will run online via Zoom video and will start at 7.30pm on Thursday, 15 April.
