Plans to improve a Farsley scout hut have been submitted to Leeds City Council for a decision.
Proposals include the demolition of the single-storey side entrance hall off Newlands and erection of a single-storey rear and side extension with covered external area and new entrance door and fire door to front.
A design statement submitted with the plans said: “The extension is designed to improve the flexibility and functionality of the Scout Hut, providing additional indoor space for community activities, storage, and ancillary facilities.
“The proposal will not change the existing community use of the building; rather, it will enhance the facility’s usability.”
