As growing numbers of people look to take greater control of their financial futures and long-term health, a Farsley event is bringing together two areas of rising interest: financial investing and strength training for longevity.
The Wealth and Wellbeing event from Lazenby’s Financial Services, in partnership with fit20, will take place on Tuesday, 17 March, 10am-12pm in Sunny Bank Mills, Farsley.
The networking event is aimed at business owners and professionals who want to feel more confident about their financial decisions while also understanding how physical strength plays a vital role in maintaining energy, independence, and quality of life over time.
A key focus of the morning is demystifying investing. Experienced financial adviser Alan Lazenby will deliver an accessible Investing 101 session, breaking down core principles of investing, building financial resilience, and long-term planning, responding to increasing interest from individuals keen to move beyond savings and better understand their options.
Alongside this, attendees will take part in a fit20 strength training taster session, experiencing how safe, time-efficient strength training can support longevity. A fit20 trainer will also explore the science-backed role strength plays in healthy ageing, injury prevention, and sustained performance, particularly relevant for professionals balancing busy working lives.
The morning concludes with informal networking at the award-winning The Mill Kitchen, where guests can continue conversations over drinks and light bites.
Dee Lazenby, Operations Director at Lazenby’s said: “After the success of our first wealth and wellbeing networking event last year with The Village Hotel, we knew we wanted to continue them in 2026.
“This event offers a unique opportunity to gain practical insight into two of the most important foundations for long-term wellbeing, financial confidence and physical strength. We’re delighted to be partnering with another local company, fit20 and look forward to a great morning of learning and connecting with fellow professionals.”
To maintain an engaging and personal experience, places are limited. Tickets – £20 each – include welcome drinks, the strength training taster session, expert talks, and post-event refreshments at The Mill Kitchen.
