An Armley youth project is helping to turn around the lives of young people, challenging and providing alternatives to destructive lifestyle choices.
Christ Church Armley Youth Project aims to encourage young people by raising aspirations and improving self-confidence and belief. Activities are open to all young people aged 8-18 from Armley and the surrounding areas.
A spokesperson said it would welcome new members:
“Parts of Armley face extreme difficulties and we believe that the young people we work with meet challenges with grit and determination and are all wonderful individuals who deserve every chance they can possibly get.”

Children and young people can also join the Messy Church group for stories, food, games and crafts on the third Saturday of every month from 3pm to 5pm at Christ Church.
The next Messy Church is on Saturday, 19 March. All welcome. Children must bring an adult.
