Bramley prepared for this week’s YML Trophy semi-final at Moldgreen with a 88-0 hammering of Wyke.

As 12 different players shared the 15 tries and Lewis Gaunt kicking 13 goals and Connor McGill adding a goal to his try the match became more of a training session for the rampant Buffaloes.

Despite the competitive level of the opposition, the tries had to be created and scored and the present “Buffs” are currently in ruthless mood, with power from the forwards and the scorching speed of the backs making the side dominant in all departments.

Tries; Etham McFarlane 2, Colin Cobley 2, Cameron McLachlan 2, Sam Marshall, Kacper Mroz, Connor McGill, Jacob Oldroyd, Jack Boot, Louis Morrison, Zane Ballantyne, Bailey Harman and Charlie McMurray

Goals; Lewis Gaunt 13  Connor McGill 1

This week’s opponents – Moldgreen

Moldgreen ARLFC’s newly-reformed open age team is enjoying its start to life in the Yorkshire Men’s Rugby League Division 2. Boss Antony Collins is pleased with how the club has started and believes there is a bright future ahead.

The team is currently in fourth position in the division with one win, two draws and one defeat from their first four matches. Last week saw them lose 28-34 at Queensbury and so everything points to a tough and close encounter as the Buffaloes look to reach their second cup final in two seasons.
