I love the city I live in. I love my family and I am very fortunate that I have three beautiful children. Children who have their every need catered for, and for that, I am truly thankful, writes Liz Conner.
So who am I? My name is Liz and I live in Bramley; just a regular working mum doing my best to raise a family in a beloved community.
Unfortunately, not everyone in Leeds is as lucky as I am. When it came to giving a little back to my local community, I had to look no further than Leeds Baby Bank.
Leeds Baby Bank is a voluntary organisation, which works tirelessly to help supply baby essentials to families in need across the city.
In these times of financial restraint, services are struggling to meet demand and an alarming number of people are living in extreme poverty. It is essential that we help support our community by ensuring that voluntary services like this can continue to support our residents.
