Be my valentine? Photos capture Pudsey crafters’ hard work hanging in park

Pudsey Community Craft Group have been at it again! Take a Valentine’s stroll through Pudsey Park this week and you may notice a particularly romantic gesture.

Volunteers Lisa Farrar and Kath Clough have knit/crocheted hearts which Lisa has hung on some trees in Pudsey Park.

It’s the latest gesture from a hard-woking and thoughtful team of volunteers.

As previously reported, dozens of volunteers from Pudsey Community Craft Group gave up their time before Christmas to knit 600 squares which adorned an impressive 18ft tall community Christmas tree outside the Commercial pub.

We also featured their impressive efforts in 2019 when the ‘knitters and natterers’ put up poppies at various spots across the town to commemorate fallen war heroes on Remembrance Sunday.

Don’t the Pudsey Park hearts look amazing?
