Award-winning saxophonist Jess Gillam to perform at Farsley

Award-winning saxophonist Jess Gillam will be bringing her show to Farsley on Wednesday, 25 May as part of a series of concerts around England. 

The saxophonist will be performing her ARIA-winning BBC Radio 3 show and podcast in a special live concert at the Sunny Bank Mills, Town Street from 7.30pm. 

The concert will be conducted by Ellie Slorach from the BBC Philharmonic and will feature special guests including pianist and composer, Belle Chen and multi-instrumentalist and composer, Erland Cooper.

Jess Gillam is a saxophonist and TV-Radio presenter. She is an advocate of spreading joy through music and has received a Classic BRIT Award, as well as being nominated for The Times Breakthrough Award. She was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list 2021 for services to music.
