The aim of Armley Junk-tion Market Day was bringing people together to create something positive by the community, for the community – and the day was certainly a success on that score!

Despite the late afternoon downpours a good day was had by all at the pay as you feel cafe, which is part of the Real Junk Food network of cafes serving meals made with ‘intercepted’ ingredients that were destined for landfill.

The event built on the positive vibe from June’s Good Stuff Armley get-together, which highlighted the positive stuff happening in Armley.
