Wortley and Farnley Parish is holding its Christmas Fair at St John’s Church on Saturday 1 December 2018 from 2pm, writes David Cartwright.
This year the Christmas Fair is to be held in the Church Hall, Dixon Lane Road, Wortley.
There will be lots of gift and craft stalls with plentiful choice for those Christmas surprises, face painting for the children, tombola and cake stalls, refreshments and entertainment by string quartets.
This is our beginning of Christmas, with Messy Church planned for 15th December, 3pm to 5pm, Carols by Candlelight on 16th at 4pm and Christingle on 24th December at 5pm as well as our normal Advent services each Sunday in December.
