Urgent work will be undertaken by Northern Gas tomorrow morning (Wednesday) to repair a gas leak on a medium pressure gas main in Rodley
The work will take place at the junction of Town Street, Rodley Lane and Coal Hill, with three-way traffic lights installed at the junction to control traffic. A council highways spokesperson said:
“These will be manually operated to ensure that there the queues are being managed efficiently.
“The duration of the work will depend on how quickly Northern Gas are able to locate the exact position of the damaged pipe but it is expect that the site should be clear by the weekend.”
