A campaign group fighting to stop the infilling of a historic Pudsey tunnel will hold its annual general meeting later this month.

The Greenside Greenway campaign group is working to turn the Greenside Tunnel onto a greenway for walking, cycling and horse riding.

More than 350 people have objected to proposals to infill the Greenside Tunnel cutting by developers, ahead of a future application for housing on the site.

Greenside Greenway will hold its annual meeting on 28th February 2019 at The Royal in Station Street. The event starts at 7.30pm

As well as electing officials, the meeting will include a presentation by Sustrans, looking at other successful greenway schemes around the country.
