Conservatives Simon Seary and Mark Harrison gained two seats from Labour in a surprise result in Pudsey Ward at the Leeds City Council local election.
Labour’s existing councillor Mick Coulson lost his seat and new candidate Louisa Cunningham (who took over from Cllr Josie Jarosz, who retired) failed to hold for Labour. The party’s existing councillor Richard Lewis held his seat, coming third.
