Young rugby players from a Pudsey school are picking up their game thanks to a former Harlequins and Saracens professional.
Tom Casson, who now plays for Yorkshire Carnegie, is leading weekly training sessions at Fulneck School, the first time the school has partnered with the team.
Each lesson sees Tom, who started his professional career with Sale Sharks junior academy, working with the team as a whole, then coaching individuals in key aspects of the game.
Ryan Walker, Fulneck School’s Head of Physical Education, said:
“Tom’s training sessions are proving invaluable in terms of the skills the boys are learning, and each visit is eagerly anticipated.”
