We are living in unprecedented times, so staying informed in these times of social isolation is more important than ever, writes Jill Stocks.
Most of us are lucky enough to have internet access so with that in mind Leeds City Council have set up Coronavirus community help groups across all 33 wards in the city.
These groups will be used to share official updates from the council and government, as well as information from partner agencies.
There will also be information from various directorates and services specific to the local area.
It is hoped that these groups will serve as a useful resource in both generating information and helping to spread positive vibes across the wards and the city.
