New Farnley Cricket Club is calling on people to join them for a post Christmas walk on Tuesday, 27 December.

The walk will allow you to not only to walk off those Christmas dinners but also raise vital funds for the Andrew Kemp Memorial Community Defibrillator Fund and the junior section of the cricket club.

The hours walk around the Farnley area will be mainly on main roads but will also go through Sykes’ Wood so appropriate footwear is advised.

After the walk there will be a quiz, play your cards right and a raffle back at the cricket club.

Last year’s event raised over £700 and the club aims to raise even more this year after a defibrillator was donated to the club by the memorial fund.
