Starting in August, Hollybush Conservation Centre has a series of workshops for anyone looking to take their next steps towards further training or getting a job.

The workshops are open to anyone who is aged 18+, currently unemployed and who has the right to live and work in the UK.

A Hollybush spokesperson said:

“Our first series of workshops have been a great success and participants have really valued the guidance and support they have received to progress towards their training and employment goals.

“Sessions have covered topics such as CV writing and interview skills, as well as mindfulness to teach techniques for managing stress and anxiety. You will also get the opportunity to volunteer with us. One of our learners has said that as a result of attending Next Steps, they are now feeling ‘fulfilled’.”

Each session will be followed by a light lunch, which will be a nice, relaxed opportunity to socialise, but also to hear from TCV staff about the projects they run and how you may be able to get involved
