Members of the community are being urged to help take a pride in their community and take part in the latest litter pick at Farnley Reservoir.

Councillor Matt Gibson (Lab, Fartnley & Wortley) will be providing all the bin bags and litter picking equipment including grabbers and rubber gloves, so all volunteers need to bring is themselves.

Volunteers will be meeting in the car park outside Heron Foods and Dominoes at 1pm on Sunday, January 27.

Cllr Gibson last week chaired the first meeting of the Friends of Farnley Forum, which aims to build on the momentum of litter picks held around Farnley Reservoir.
