Farsley Farmers Market

With just two monthly markets to go plus our Seasonal Market held by Sunny Bank Mills on Farsley Christmas Lights Night, we are getting up speed and heading toward Christmas in Farsley! writes Jo Reilly.

A recent feature on our facebook event posts is “Stall of the month” Have you spotted it?

We have already mentioned S & S James, who were involved in the launch of the Farmers’ Market back in March 2014. Stu & Sue have now expanded to two stalls – Artisan World Kitchen and Farsley Smokehouse.

Candied Peel Cake Co keep mixing it up and improving their cake range season by season. They are taking your Xmas orders on Sat 24th November, along with many traders, for collection Sat 22 December!

As our newest Trader, Yorkshire Chocolatier had a mention in our event post for Sat 27th Oct. She has been busy trading across Yorkshire but is really looking forward to standing with us at Farsley Lights event.

Please support the Traders by making a point to visit your monthly market, not only for the produce and crafts but to enjoy the attractions and feel the community spirit.

Inside, the Kitchen Special – back by popular demand – is handmade pancake and maple syrup with or without bacon! For the diehards there is always our sausage or bacon butties and toasted fruit loaf.

Farsley Christmas Lights

Visit us on Farsley Christmas Lights Night too – Wednesday 28th November.

Activities kick off 6pm and the market opens around 7pm where you can enjoy a great range of hot and take home foods, a special selection of hand crafted gifts plus Santa’s Grotto along with facepaints and glitter tattoos.

Look out for the official posters around Farsley detailing the time and route of Santa’s parade with a pipe band, The Village Singers, fireworks and participation from community groups as well. A night to really put you in the Christmas Spirit!
