Fulneck: Annual bank holiday concert features Bach and Mozart

Join St Peter’s Singers for their annual Bank Holiday Monday Concert on 27 August 2018 at 4pm in Fulneck Moravian Church.

The programme of music entitled Baroque and Beyond will include works by Buxtehude, Bach and Mozart.

The Singers are complemented by the principals of National Festival Orchestra, leader Nicholas Meredith with Alan Horsey at the console of the newly-restored Fulneck Snitzler/Binns organ, all under the direction of Dr Simon Lindley.

Admission is free with a retiring collection.

This Bank Holiday concert sketches a journey from the early baroque period of Buxtehude, through its full glories in the music of JS Bach and on to the classicism of Mozart. Look out for the well-known aria ‘My heart ever faithful’.
