Dan Thomas is assistant manager for FC Armley football team. He’s getting his boxing gloves on and raising money for Cancer Research UK at a charity boxing match and would like YOUR support, Here’s his story…
For those that don’t know yet, I have entered into a boxing match at the royal armouries in Leeds on November 19th.
I am doing this for a couple of reasons. The first reason is my love for boxing and the second reason and the most important reason is I am raising money for Cancer Research UK.
Me and my family have been through a lot of heartache in recent years and have family fighting the horrible disease and those that have passed away because of it.
I’m sure everyone can relate to the pain it causes. I’m sure everyone can also agree this is for a great cause.
I would be grateful for those who wish to donate, and also those who wish to come and watch me fight on the night.
