In a rematch of Saturday’s FA Trophy Victory, Farsley Celtic welcome Mossley AFC to Throstle Nest this time in league action, writes Thomas Ritchie.

Farsley came away 3-1 winners from the weekend’s FA Trophy 1st qualifying round tie at Seel Park and will now travel to Barwell FC on 12th November.

That result put an end to a mixed month for The Celts with four wins and three losses, including being knocked out the FA Cup at the 3rd qualifying round stage by Bishop Auckland.

Despite being in cup action on Saturday Farsley remain fifth in the Evo-Stik Division 1 North, 6 points behind first placed Brighouse Town having played fewer games than all those above.

Farsley will once again be without the services of Ryan Serrant (ankle) and top scorer James Walshaw (suspension), however centre back Adam Clayton is now fully fit and Alex Davidson is close to a comeback following a hamstring injury. Richard Marshall, who received a red card in Saturday’s game will be available.

Mossley currently lie 18th in the table, and have won just one of their last seven in the league, losing their last three in all competitions to Trafford (4-1) in the league, Hyde United (2-1) in the Manchester Cup and Farsley (3-1) in the FA Trophy.

Tom Pratt will be available for selection despite his early dismissal on Saturday, however Jason Hill may be a doubt after being substituted with an injury on Saturday.

The game kicks off at 7.45pm tomorrow at Throstle Nest, so why not come down and cheer on your local team. Admission prices are just £7 adults, £4 concessions and £1 U16s.
