Meet fairies, trolls and dragons in Kirkstall Abbey Gardens

Wander into the magical Fairy Dell, meet the fairies … but watch out for the terrible trolls and Smoke the Dragon, writes Adele Rae.

A magical and mystical fairy village has been found in Kirkstall Abbey Gardens.

Surrounding the village are fiendish trolls and a fire breathing dragon. So shake out your wings and come along and meet new friends.

  • Join in the Fairy Disco
  • Listen to Storytime with the Fairy Queen
  • Wand making
  • Create a Flower Crown
  • Make a Fire Breathing Dragon mask.

Come along and enjoy the magic there’s lots of entertainment for the whole family. Bring a picnic or enjoy a tasty morsel from one of our food stalls.

10% of ticket sales will be donated to Candlelighters, the children’s cancer charity.

The family event runs on the 19th and 20th of May 2018 from 11am to 4pm and is organised by the Kirkstall Valley Development Trust. Tickets available here.
