Every Wednesday evening for five years now, the Pudsey Youth Café has provided a safe, sociable space for young people around Pudsey to relax and encourage their creativity.

The Pudsey Youth Café from 6.30pm – 8pm provides an activity and food, every Wednesday evening in the Pudsey Wellbeing Centre.

The activities range from arts and crafts to movie watching, with a new activity each week. The café ensures the young people are able to give their own ideas to keep them entertained and excited.

The weekly meet-up creates a relaxing, safe space to leave the stresses of school behind them.

Regular attendee of the club, Evie, said: “I have been coming to the Youth Café for a few years and since coming here I have made many different friends.”

Evie’s fellow attendee, Kayleigh, also commends the food and atmosphere of the café: “The food is always great. I enjoy coming to an environment where I can relax and have fun.”
