Popular Bramley parkrun will be cancelled for at least another week due to asbestos removal in the changing rooms.
Both the Bramley 5k and Bramley Junior parkrun events have been cancelled since 2nd January 2019, with work originally expected to last four weeks.
Bramley Parkrun’s Jean Hollings said:
“Unfortunately Bramley parkrun have been informed today that the work has not been completed on the pavilion so we have had to cancel until the beginning of March.”
Parkrun volunteers are urging people to keep eye out on social media for updates. Anyone with concerns can contact bramleyoffice@parkrun.com or bramley-juniorsoffice@parkrun.com.
Nearest 5k parkrun events are at Armley, Middleton Woods, Cross Flatts, Temple Newsam, Roundhay, Oakwell Hall, Potternewton, Woodhouse Moor, Bradford and Horton Park
Nearest 2k events are: Temple Newsam, Roundhay, Cross Flatts and Boddington Hall.
