Want to find out more about the new community-owned farm in Kirkstall? Come to the Bramley Local, a virtual community pub night for anyone interested in community stuff and getting to know people.

It runs on Monday 16 August, 7.30-8.30pm on Zoom.

Attendees will be hearing from Kirkstall Valley Development Trusts Adele Rae, and also hearing from Diane Law looking back on some stand-out Bramley initiatives where young people took the lead.

And, as usual, there will be time for local news from West Leeds Dispatch editor John Baron, an update on the Bramley bench campaign by the A Place to Sit group, and updates from us on our project to investigate community ownership of the demolished toilet-block site at Bramley Shopping Centre.

Have you got some local news or ideas to share? Want to publicise a community event or need volunteers? Drop in – it’s social, informal and good fun – all welcome!
