A disused Wortley car sales pitch could become an ice cream café, if plans submitted to Leeds City Council get the go ahead.

Proposals include changing the use of the building and yard at Five Lane Ends to an ice cream/desserts café.

An architect’s drawing of the site, submitted with the application.

Applicant Dewsbury-based food company Rubik’s Grey say: “Externally the building will not see any changes through this particular development, apart from display boards at high level.”

One of the two access points will used as an entrance to the car park and the other for the exit.

The plans can be viewed in full here.

Update: WLD originally reported that the plans included the garage next door. This is not the case and we’re happy to clarify the exact location.
