Woman critically injured after being hit by bus on Ring Road

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman pedestrian was knocked over by a bus in West Leeds.

The incident occurred at 11.22pm last night (Wednesday, 16 November 2021) on the A6110 Ring Road at Lower Wortley, just before to the roundabout junction with Royds Lane.

The 41-year-old woman was involved in a collision with a double-decker bus that was being driven away from the Gelderd Road junction, towards Wortley.

She sustained life-threatening injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
