West Leeds playgrounds close for refurbishment

Playgrounds in Rodley and Bramley have closed to allow for improvement works to carried out on play equipment.

Bramley Fall Park playground closed this week for a minor refurbishment.

A spokesperson for Leeds City Council said: “We will be installing a new toddler unit, repairing the roundabout and resurfacing. We hope to have the playground opened by mid December.”

Rodley Park playground is currently closed for minor refurbishment. Council workers are painting play equipment and laying new safer surfacing.

The playground is expected to be open by mid December.
