West Leeds residents are being urged to make use of LS28 Repair Cafe offering to repair small household items.
The monthly repair cafe is at Pudsey Community Project in Fartown, Pudsey tomorrow (Saturday, 27 June) between 2pm-5pm.
A spokesperson issued a ‘use it or lose it’ plea. “After a couple of quiet months with very little queue, we’re hoping you still value there being a West Leeds Repair Cafe – come along on Saturday and show us we’re needed!” they said.
“We will have a wonderful team of general/electrical fixers including offering minor clothes repairs/alterations, lamps, ornaments, garden equipment, electricals, toys, small kitchen appliances etc – if you’re unsure if we can fix it, bring it along and let us see!”
Bike repairs will also be on offer.
“If you have a faulty item we will try and fix it and if you have the parts then we will fit them for free (but please leave a generous donation so we can keep this event going!).
“Please note, all fixers are volunteers and we can make no promises as to whether things can be repaired!”
There will be lovely refreshments available.
