Community led Bramley Baths has scooped a prestigious award, thanks to Yorkshire MESMAC, the region’s largest LGBT+ Sexual and Mental Health charity.
The Baths, on Broad Lane, had hosted the weekly Making Waves group every Sunday evening until the first lockdown and had helped to open up fitness and exercise to the trans and non-binary community.
The group stopped due to lockdown, but it’s hoped Making Waves will re-start soon.
The news was announced in a video, which can be viewed in full here and sees the Baths thanking MESMAC for the award.
