Leeds City Council has shared a new video which explains the construction phases as part of the £44 million Dawsons Corner and Stanningley Bypass improvement scheme.
The three-minute animation details five phases of work and shows the full project, from the start up and installation of the site compound, through to the final design.
Council chiefs hope the changes to the junction will reduce congestion, improve bus journey times, provide safer crossing facilities for cyclists and pedestrians, and help to support economic growth across Leeds and Bradford.

All those changes disruption and £46 million and I bet its barely (if at all) any quicker to get through.
On top of that, the one thing I’d have liked to see being an easier route from Pudsey to Asda/M&S instead of having to go round the roundabout and back on yourself isn’t touched, in fact the route is now longer.
But sure close the Civic Hall, Pudsey Town Hall to save a few quid but happy to spend £46 on this, council is bonkers and I think its a case of jobs for the boys in construction and planning
