Tonight: Pudsey town centre clean-up

A litter pick to tidy up Pudsey Town Centre is being held this evening (Monday, April 4).

The event, organised by volunteers running the Pudsey Litter Action group, will see anyone interested in picking litter in the town centre meet outside the library at 6.30pm.

More details of the event can be found here.

One of the event organisers, Edward Russell, said:

“Our friends at Pudsey in Bloom are being judged by Yorkshire in Bloom. The judges will be looking at the town centre, and so it would be great if some people could turn out to help them by clearing some litter from this area.

“Some members of Pudsey in Bloom have been crucial to this group from the very start, so it would be great if you could go along on Monday.”

Yorkshire in Bloom judges are due in the town tomorrow.

Litter pickers and bags will be provided.
