Venture back in time and visit Armley in 1918 for a story of canaries, cages and the war on peace, led by a time travelling resident as part of the 400th anniversary celebrations for Leeds.
As The Great War comes to its close, what will peace bring to the residents of Leeds?
Join the history filled theatrical walk, which will start at the junction of Armley Road and Albion Way, moving past HMP Leeds and ending at New Wortley Cemetery.
This journey will take approximately an hour and end with the option of refreshments after. Both local and national history will be covered. Leeds Civic Trust members receive a special rate on their tickets.

Researched, written and performed by Jude Kershaw (recently made ‘One to Watch’ by Sunny Bank Mills in Farsley and elected a Postgraduate member of the Royal Historical Society) who is project lead of Run of The Mill History. Get your tickets here.
