Join in all or some of the activities set to bring the Armley community together on Saturday, 26 March in a fun-filled day of events.

The day starts with a Keep Armley Tidy Litter Pick from 9am-10am as part of the BBC Radio Leeds ‘One Big Clean Up’. Volunteers are meeting at the Armley Community Hub and Library.

The early start time is to fit in around the Weekend Breakfast Show with a roving reporter out and about speaking to people and community groups involved in the Clean Up. Bags and kit will be provided.

The link to the Facebook book event is here.

The afternoon will see Armley Town Street closed off to host a Spring Market, with food stalls, craft stalls, roving entertainment and the Story Bus. More details in WLD’s earlier report here.

This event is organised by the Armley Action Team and funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the Welcome Back Fund, supported by Leeds City Council.
The Facebook event is here.

Round the evening off with a pay as you feel Ceilidh at 7.30pm at Christ Church on Armley Ridge Road.

I think we can safely say that Spring has sprung in Armley!
