Singers’ concert season continues at Fulneck Church

St Peter’s Singers of Leeds are celebrating their 40th anniversary concert season present with two beautiful Bach Cantatas and Handel’s Foundling Hospital Anthem, writes DAVID HAWKIN.

The concerts will be held at the historic Fulneck Moravian Church, just south of Pudsey, on Monday, 28 August 2017 at 4pm.
This Bank Holiday concert comprises some truly joyful music from the pen of JS Bach (including the famous tune ‘Jesu, Joy of Man’s desiring’), and, in the 275th Anniversary year of Handel’s first involvement with Thomas Coram’s enduring charity for children, the Foundling Hospital Anthem.
