Villagers in Rodley are holding a public meeting to discuss dangerous drivers and rat running this week.

The meeting has been called by concerned local residents concerned about speeding car drivers which they claim puts lives in Rodley at risk every day.

There are specific concerns about problems on Canal Road and Bridge Road.

Concerned resident Dave Smith urged people to attend the meeting, whicvh will be held this this Wednesday, 7th December, at 6.30pm at the Church in Rodley, Wesley Terrace, Rodley. He added:

“Come and see video evidence of the dangerous driving that occurs everyday in Rodley! Please attend to allow us to make progress and get action on this problem.”

Another local resident added:

“I’ve lived in Rodley all my life at one point lived on the bad bend opposite the Chinese takeaway …have been used to traffic but it’s never been as bad as it is now for traffic building up and at times stretching way past the park on the run up to the roundabout!”
