Pudsey engineering company G&H has named Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and Take Heart as its 2026 Charities of the Year.
The announcement comes after G&H’s team successfully raised more than £40,000 for Pudsey Community Project and Dementia UK in 2025 – a record-breaking annual fundraising amount for the 200-strong company.
Through a series of fundraising initiatives and events, G&H is aiming to exceed this target as well as increase awareness of its 2026 official charity partners.
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice was selected following a company-wide staff vote. The charity provides essential care for children with life-shortening conditions, supports their families, and helps families facing or living with the loss of a child across West Yorkshire.
Take Heart was chosen by the G&H directors after colleagues and their families received life-saving treatment for heart complications. A volunteer-run charity, Take Heart raises funds to enhance the experience of the thousands of heart patients visiting the Yorkshire Heart Centre at LGI, St James’s Hospital, and its units within The Leeds Hospitals NHS Trust.

Not only are we aiming to raise vital funding, but awareness too.”
