Pudsey residents are being urged to report nuisance bikers blighting local beauty spots to the police.

West Leeds Neighbourhood Police Team has received numerous calls regarding nuisance quads and off-road bikes being ridden in the Fulneck and Black Carr Woods areas.

A police spokesperson said:

“Residents have been actively encouraged to report any issues with the off road bikes and quads in the woods. The off road bike team have also been fully briefed about all the issues and have been in the area daily.”

There were reports of bikes in the woods on Sunday afternoon. A man from Bradford was found and his bike was seized. He is due to appear in court for having no licence, or insurance.

Regular patrols will continue.
