Hot pizzas could be sold from a sandwich shop in Horsforth if plans are agreed with the city council.
The installation of a pizza oven is proposed for the premises at 1 Paradise Place.
Leeds City Council has been asked to approved a planning application for an expansion of the Woodside Stores business.
A design report by the applicant said: “This application seeks permission to continue the existing sandwich shop while introducing freshly made pizzas prepared from the existing rear kitchen.
“The proposal is to expand the existing menu rather than replace the existing business.”
A full planning application is out for consultation until September 9.
The report added: “The proposal makes use of the existing premises and kitchen facilities while supporting the continued operation of a long-established local business.
“The development is modest in scale and is not expected to have any significant impact on neighbouring properties.”
