West Leeds running clubs were well represented at today’s Leeds 10k and Half Marathon events.

It was great seeing so many familiar faces from Bramley and Armley parkruns.

There were many runners raising money for good causes and they were grateful of the support of the spectators on Kirkstall Road and the city centre – and the spray from the hose at the hand car wash!

The friendly volunteers did a fantastic job, whipping up the crowds and making sure the event ran smoothly.

The events returned after being cancelled last year due to the Coronavirus pandemic – and have helped raise thousands of pounds for charity.
