A vape shop could open on Lidget Hill in Pudsey after a planning application was submitted to Leeds City Council.
Applicant Nabaaz Muhammed, of Vape Local Masters Ltd, wants to convert a tanning salon into a shop selling vapes and associated equipment at 33 Lidget Hill. In his application, he says his business will be next to the entrance to Lidget Hill car park, which accommodates 60 to 70 vehicles.
A planning statement accompanying the application states: “The proposed use will ensure an ongoing use of the building and will retain its current appearance as a retail unit.
“The use is one that is becoming an established part of the retail uses provided in the town centre and will have no detriment to concerns of neighbouring properties or the visual amenities of the area.”
The application can be viewed in full here.
No thanks. We don’t need this. We need proper shops that sell useful things, not this junk. No safe opposite a school.
Did this get the permission to open as a vape shop, I contacted my local Conservative councillor and put forward a objection to the council we don’t need anymore of this crap in Pudsey and as for cafes and barbershops, there’s too many of them, but there’s another barbers getting fitted out near Liberal club Lowtown, which was previously a bloody barbers that moved over the road, and apparently the old HSBC bank is going to be flats and possibly a cafe on the ground floor, it’s all attracting trash to Pudsey
Hi Dee, the application is still to be decided. We’ll report the final decision when we have it.
