Man arrested over Farnley arson attack – police continue appeal for information

A man has been arrested by detectives investigating an arson attack on a house in Farnley.

The 24-year-old was arrested last night on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life in relation to an incident at a house in Butterbowl Mount, Farnley.

A mother and young child had to be rescued by firefighters shortly after midnight in the early hours of Saturday (20 November).

Police are continuing to appeal for information.
