Leeds Central and Headingley: Chance to grill election candidates in Burley

Voters living in Burley and Kirkstall are being invited to attend a hustings for the new Leeds Central and Headingley constituency.

The hustings, run by ACORN Leeds, is for anyone in the community to have their voice heard by the people who will be representing them after the July 4 election.

‘Get Heard – Leeds Central & Headingley’ will be a chance to speak directly to your candidates about what matters to you. The focus of this hustings will be on housing, something that affects thousands in the constituency who face eviction, disrepair, rent increases, and more.

It is open to anyone, and anyone can ask a question. Attendees can submit a question on arrival.

The event runs on 24 June, 7pm-8.30pm at All Hallow’s Church, 24 Regent Terrace, Burley, Leeds LS6 1NP.

Open to everyone living in the Headingley & Hyde Park, Kirkstall, Little London & Woodhouse and Weetwood council wards – more event details can be found here.
