A recently formed group of litter-picking volunteers in Farnley are inviting people to join their Weekly Wednesday Womble.
The volunteers are meeting up at Old Farnley Community Centre at 11am every Wednesday to carry out litter picks to help keep Farnley tidy. Organiser Peter Allison said:
“It’s a fantastic way to meet new people who are like-minded and do your little bit for the community. Every little bit helps. If you feel a particular area could do with a spruce up and a little TLC, just let me know and we can target that area.”
