The big freeze continued to send a shiver down the spine of people living in West Leeds as temperatures plummeted overnight to around minus 11 degrees celsius.
Crawshaw Academy in Pudsey remained closed today, and Leeds West Academy had a delayed opening of 9.30am. Pudsey Bolton Royd Primary School also had a later opening as pathways continue to resemble an ice rink with frozen snow making walking treacherous.
